  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Approaching stop light, applied brakes as normal. Had strange feel in pedal like frozen, could not depress properly and brakes did not fully engage. Car finally did stop but was well into intersection. If a car had been in front of me we would probably have crashed. It was not the same pedal "feel" as anti lock brakes engaging on snow. Weird. ?? Brakes normal remainder of drive.
Shortly after got Warning to Check Lane Change Assist but it was not activated at the time.
Shortly after that the Nav section of display went black for a minute then returned to normal.
Leaving work later, entering freeway with left signal on. Signals suddenly flash right then left then right while I was at same time trying to cancel signal. On ramp is a very heavy merge with aggressive drivers merging several lanes so I was kind of busy so not sure what the signal glitch was.
Today all seems normal. Trying to arrange service but dealership where I bought car says mechanic is in hospital or something.
Has anyone found a really good Genesis mechanic at dealership near Philadelphia?

Ghost in the machine. Sounds like the power assist on the brakes was not working. Who knows, but I would be concerned as it sounds like a potential electrical issue impacting many systems, and definitely not safe. Dealer only has one mechanic?
