  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I'd like to change out the 19's on my GV70 to possibly 20's with a lower profile/ wider tire, but from what I see here, there's not a lot of aftermarket options without taking out another mortgage to pay for them. Don't want to go with spacers if possible. Wouldn't mind finding a take off set of 21 sport wheels and tires near enough to avoid shipping, but my question is:
What's the specs on offset, width, and center hub size? I believe the lug spacing is 5 on 4.5". Also, would GV80 or G70 wheels fit? Thanks for any info!

I too am slowly shopping for options to replace the 19" that will come with my 2.5T Prestige (canada). I would like to go 21", but fewer options and tires cost a fortune. Looking at 22", probably with a offset of +32 to +34, depending on what is available. I too would consider the stock 21" if I could find a set locally, but highly unlikely.

For specs, often use this site : Reference guide for car wheel and tire dimensions such as size, offset, PCD. You can use this site to look up other Genesis models to compare to size and offset specs below for GV70. The wheels will likely fit, but offset may not match. Also, overall diameter of the stock tire of other models may not match GV70. You can check to see the difference between two sizes at Tire Size Comparison. General rule of thumb is to stay with in 3% of overall diameter...I like it closer to 1%.

GV70 Specs:

Center Bore: 67.1 mm
– PCD: 5x114.3 (5x4.5)
Wheel Fasteners: Lug bolts
Wheel Tightening Torque: 137 - 157 Nm
– Thread Size: M14 x 1.5

For the 21" wheel, 9Jx21 ET43

Hope this helps.

Luck11, I think we ordered from same dealer (Ottawa, mid-December for me), and I most likely will want to get rid of the OEM 21’, so if timing works, that may be an option.

Hello Hugues77, yes, sure did!! I just ordered a week and a half ago, so I suspect you will get yours a good 2.5-3 months before I get mine. But yes, hit me up when you get your GV, I may be interested. Are you looking for a swap or are you selling to get an aftermarket wheel?

Apologies to the OP...don't want to hijack the thread.

If you go to Wheelwiz.ca you can enter gv70 to search by vehicle and it will give you a ton of options. It's a canadian site but you can find the exact products in the US likely as well (if that is where you are from ). They match up the tire size too, will mount and balance and guarantee fitment.
