Wheel Swap?

I'm waiting for my 2.5T to arrive...but have heard of some people not liking the wheels on the 3.5T compared to the 2.5T Prestige wheels. Thought I would try my luck on here...if anybody in Alberta was interested in swapping their wheels, let's chat! Would love to be able to get the 3.5T wheels. Sadly Genesis doesn't allow for upgrading the wheels on their vehicles.

The 3.5 Sport plus has the 21” black/dark grey wheels as opposed to the 19” on the 2.5T. I’ve heard some people don’t want the 21’s have and swapped with people who have 19’s.

The 2.5T wheels are different then the 3.5T wheels in Canada. They are also different within the 2.5T models. The Prestige (top 2.5 model) has the ugliest wheels in my opinion. And yes, I will swap with anyone in Ontario, Canada that wants to get rid of their 21" wheels.

is there not a technical problem if you swap? My friend and I both have the 2022 GV70 3.5t and went to the dealer to swap our tires (he has the prestige 21” and I have the 19”) and the service guy said we couldn’t do it , that it would throw off the computer sensors… any word on this would be appreciated because I would love to have the 21”!

Use tiresize.com, enter tire size information and compare height and width. Similar overall diameter and width should not cause issues. Do check offset by testing the swap first

Consider whether the 2 MPG penalty is worth the 21" wheel.

I was hoping to get 20" wheels - step up from the 19" - but according to the tiresize website it seems they are too big - 255/55R20. Wanted to fill the well up more but keep some sidewall. I would have to get a 255/45R20 so they are the same diameter as the 255/40R21
