Before other Manufacturer's EVs can use the Tesla Super Charger network, I believe two thing need to happen.
First, Tesla needs to modify their Super Charger network software to allow to non-Tesla EVs to sign into their charging system.
A late March date is projected for Tesla to accomplish the necessary software changes.
Second, the non Tesla vehicle needs either a built-in NACS charging port or a NACS to CCS1 adapter. Tesla is supposed to
be working on such an adapter. Two manufacturers now have such adapters for sale for < $200.
Does anyone know if Genesis EVs will be included in the first group of vendors whose cars will be able to use the Tesla Super Chargers
after Tesla makes the necessary software modifications?
