  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Who and when will the Genesis G70 actually be available to purchase?

In before thread is locked

Perhaps we need a "Where to Buy a Genesis G70" sticky thread...

That is essentially what the Dealer List is. There are a couple of dealers who currently only have the 2019 G80s and G90s in inventory but that I would imagine the G70s are coming to them.

Would a sticky thread make it easier for people to find so that new discussions aren't being started?

I stuck that thread in the main Genesis Motors area - but I wonder if it would be a good idea to post it in each of the forums - especially the G70 forum since nobody knows where to buy one...

That may be helpful. I had been posting the list in the two "availability" threads in the G70 forum but decided to create a thread for it in the General Discussion since it pertained to all models. I have been trying to update it at least once a week so it is fairly current.

Is there a way that TB can maintain a single thread (nobody can reply to it) where he constantly replaces the PDF file with a new one. So he can indefinitely EDIT the thread and swap out the attachment with a newer one, etc.

But it's important that nobody can reply to it.

Actually I would rather just have a new post in the thread when I have an updated file. This way there is sort of a history and people can always go to the last post to get the latest.

That may be best thing to do. I can update the sticky in each forum if there is no way to "share" them between forums. Just let me know if you need me to do anything.

If that is the case...is there a way to lock it down that only YOU can reply to the thread? That way...no comments, etc...just a continuous thread updated by you with new PDF updates.

That I'm not sure about. There is a way to set permissions for a sticky/thread but I think they are group based and not user based.
