Where do you put the propane tank?

My wife tells me that we are having a bbq this weekend
Just one problem, I'm out of propane
I used to have a Explorer Sportrac Adrenaline and would just slap the tank in the back and not even think about it
But today, i'm looking at the tank and the trunk of my Gen and ???
Do you think I could hook 2 bugee cords the the mesh net hooks
Would that be solid???
I also noticed that there is no way to have the trunk hood held down with a bungee cord.
Some ideas???

Roll it in towards the rear of the trunk. That big ass sub-woofer magnet hanging down, with no cover, should hold it pretty well.

There is a common camping item called a "Tankfoot". Heres a picture from one on E-Bay:

That will keep it stabilized in the trunk. As an extra precaution, just secure it with a bungee cord to something so it doesn't slide everywhere. I carry my BBQ propane in my motorhome without any security and it's fine for months on end.
