  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Is there enough difference in HP Tq to buy the 3.8 over the 2.0 ?

Trying to decide which one to get and which local dealer around Dallass is better than the others?

TIA

There is no comparison between the coupe and the sedan - they are totally different cars appealing to totally different markets. They differ in ways that are much more important than hp and torque

Coupe  - To each to own right?....but if you like to "upgrade" or tune cars the 2.0 may be for you (maybe not worth the money to enhance performance), or if you just want balls out stock performance, I'd recommend the 3.8.

In addition, have you heard the exhaust note on the 3.8 track tested by MotorTrend. Makes me shiver..it's fantastic:D

Sedan - Will a 3.8 Sedan owner PLEASE get a MagnaFlow (etc) exhaust, because it would sound awesome!

if you plan on any mods get the 2.0, the bearings on the 6 cyl can handle more than 50-60 hp over stock according to an engine builder at ark performance
