So yes, my family has 3 Genesis Vehicles. My step mom drives a 2011 Genesis 4.6. I drive a 2015 3.8 sedan. And my dad drives a 2018 G90 5.0 ultimate. Okay, so this is probably a stupid thing to post, but which vehicle is best for road trips? I mean it might seem obvious but there are a few variables here.
Firstly, the 2018 G90 has almost 41k miles on it. My only hesitance for taking this on road trips is I don't want to rack up the mileage on it quickly, thus putting more wear on the car (I mean, the suspension for this car is not cheap to say the least, and it's probably the most expensive to maintain out of the 3). Also, this is probably the least fuel efficient out of the 3.
Secondly, the 2011 has about 120k miles on it. However, it currently has an airbag light on and it's missing a passenger door handle from a recent minor collision that we're waiting on to ship. Also, question, is the 4.6 or 5.0 more efficient because I seem to get higher mileage in the G90, however, I guess the computer might be overstated. The great thing about this one is mileage is not really a concern for me on this car.
Thirdly, the 2015 has about 51k miles. It has the 3.8 so I imagine it would be the most efficient, however, I would rather not put miles on it either, and also, it was recently rear ended but has minor damage that needs to be fixed (just scratches on the bumper) .
So, obviously a lot of variables. I know this is weird post, but if these were your 3 cars, and you had these variables, which would you think is the best for road trips (say approximately 300 miles each way)?
