  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey everyone! Just got a 3.8 gen coupe the other day. I don't know a whole lot about this car so I turn to you guys and hope to learn a lot! First of all let me say this, OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS CAR. I bought this at a Toyota dealership and I test drove the Scion FR-S and then drove this, the FR-S didn't even compare (performance-wise or luxury-wise). The little I do know about my car is that it's a White 2010 Genesis Coupe 3.8 V6, automatic transmission, brown-orange leather, equipped with navigation and bluetooth and heated seats and paddle shifters, parking sensors etc with 34,xxx miles. It has a trunk lip spoiler. I've been trying to do a little research on the car and I see that there are 3 different trims on the 3.8: base, grand touring, and track. I know for a fact that it's not the base model, so that leaves the GT and the Track. Which one do I have? What are the differences and advantages/disadvantages between the 2 trims? Thanks!

I take it you are a impulse buyer. Sometimes on a major buy (house, car. boat ) you can really get screwed for years on the purchase. I have had this happen in my younger years so I take my time and investigate. Sometimes when I do , I really did not need it that bad after all. It helps in negotiating too. You can really get the price you can afford. Banks on lending rates I can negotiate a whole percentage point down now.. Hope you like your new car. but you should learn what you have bought to find out all the options it has..
