  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Just installed F&R Whiteline sway bars today on our 21 G70, only driven it a bit but damn, what a difference! Car feels so solid and planted now and although I have it set on soft for both bars it's such a dramatic change. Took about 2.5 hrs to change both out, that one rear nut by the fuel lines was tight but not bad at all w/ this setup, a 14mm flex ratchet combo wrench , another combo wrench to provide extra torque (ghetto style), and a flex regular ratchet for the other 3 nuts/bolts . I removed the two fender liner cap nuts and the nut holding the fuel lines, allowed a bit more room. Really was a simple install but did scrape up my lower arms a bit as it is tight in there. The rear I jacked and removed the drivers side tire, made sure I could remove that nut by the fuel lines (because if you can't remove that one you'll need different tools), then removed the other bar bolt, then loosened the upper end link nut but kept it on there. I then jacked and raised the passenger side and did the same steps, then removed both upper end link nuts, removed the bar and installed the new one. Get the bushing cap over the threaded stud first, just thread it a bit then get the bolt threaded in, keep everything threaded but loose. Do the same for the other side, when tightening down the bushing cap try to keep it centered as you don't want it going to far to either side as this will crowd the head of the nut/bolt and you'll have a tough time getting a wrench/socket on it, just snug it down evenly. Once you get the bar where you want it, tighten everything down and to get that tight fuel line nut torqued down use that flex combo ratchet wrench along w/ that box end combo to get it nice and tight. Once you get it all tight along w/ the end link nuts installed then you'll put the bushing stops (if your bar uses them, some are built in) on the bar tight to the outer bushing edge on each side and clamp them down.

The front is a bit easier, no need to remove the tires, just put on ramps, remove the splash tray, upper end link nuts, and the 4 bar bolts, replace w/ the new bar and go enjoy your NEW ride!

Added yellow teflon tape (for gas lines) to keep squeaks at bay. Added the included grease for the front bar and copper anti-seize for the rear bar.
I like that whiteline bars are solid, not tubes, they don't include zerk fittings so hopefully that tape/grease setup will work for a long time, especially the rear anti-seize/tape combo as I don't want to remove those bushing caps back there again any time soon.
I got the bars from this site, best price I found w/ free shipping and no tax, so 340.43 to your door, such a big "bang for the buck" mod, so happy I got this done!

Did the same, love the bars, car should have come this way, huge difference.
Yeah, it's set up a bit more toward luxury than I prefer, these sways kick it over toward Sport just right!

Rear end was twitchy before going into a tight turn. Car just stays planted now. Love the difference.
