I'm bringing my Genesis in for an alignment tomorrow because the car pulls to the left leaving me to hold the steering wheel to the right. I'm taking her to a tire place that has a pretty good alignment machine and they told me that they would also check the canter on all the wheels.
I know that has nothing to do with shakes;
Now to the shakes. When I hit the highway and look over at my passenger seat it is shaking pretty good. I can sometimes feel the shakes as well just sitting driving along. I also notice it when I'm driving with one hand, with my wrist placed on top of the steering wheel.
I had my wheels balanced a little while ago, but I don't think it helped. Could it be the OEM tires? I have a set of winter wheels and tires as well and I think they make the car shake too. My winter wheels are road forced balanced and the guy told me they looked good according to the computer.
Does anyone else's car shake? ...or does anyone else's passenger seat shake when driving on newly paved roads? It is mostly highway driving when it shakes.
