  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Who's looking to get the 2022 G70? I'm debating between the 2022 G70 3.3T advanced or the 2022 GV70 2.5T advanced...similar pricing, but G70 will give more power with slightly worse fuel efficiency, while GV70 will have less power, but better fuel efficiency.

We just went through the same decision replacing my wife’s G80. She likes a smaller car and wasn’t excited about driving an suv, so we went with the G70.

The things you mention are, of course, very important, but you left out “size” which could be a major consideration for you. There’s much more difference in size than fuel efficiency or power. Which of those things is most important to you will weigh most heavily. The G70 is somewhat cramped in comparison, but a helluva lot of fun to drive. They’re two very different vehicles for two very different purposes. YMMV. :)

Another thing to wrestle with is the fact that the G70 is basically old tech compared to the GV70 definitely being new tech. That may matter to you.

are you prepared to pay close to sticker? The car market is crazy right now and will most likely be so for the next 12 months.

We paid sticker. 🌚 SUX but it’s a ball to drive. Drives like a go-kart.
