Why red brake light is on until car is exited?

The brake light shows on the dash screen when I shut the car (2019 G70 3.3T) off. That red light goes off when I exit the car. As far as I can tell, there is nothing wrong with the brakes.

It's letting you know that the parking brake is set.

OK, so the parking brake is set when car is off, but does this mean that the parking brake is off while driving? Just want confirmation.

If the "BRAKE (!)(P)" light is off, the parking brake is off. It is full auto release.
