  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Walked out to my car this morning and noticed a nice small ding on the chrome trim of the drivers side window. I have a '20 G70 2.0, and not sure what the best way of going about fixing this is. Its gonna annoy me having to see it every time i get into my car. Ugh, not even sure how it couldve happened, maybe a bird dropping something?

You need someone who specializes in paintless dent repair. That would drive me nuts too. Check out a site like this, or search for "paintless dent repair." The good ones are wizards.

Ouch! That would bug ME, too. Yeah, paintless dent repair would be my direction. I know someone local to me who does it so well. These wizards always amaze me.

Im not fully up to date on dentless, but have had it done several years ago. Im not seeing how what they did then would work on the chrome trim, but at the same time its possible i suppose. But those pieces cant be very expensive.

A picture of the ding would be helpful.

The pic is in post #1, and yeah, not sure if dentless repair could do that.
