  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Sorry if I missed it on the forums (I tried searching before I posted), but has anyone found a good low profile KDM/JDM style window visor/deflector? I see a few online (see links below), but wanted to see if anyone had feedback on some. TIA

It allows you to crack the window a bit when its raining, and what not. Usually weathertech makes them.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Sometimes they are referred to as rain guards, window deflectors, etc, but yes 1fstyota is right, allows for windows to be down without rain coming in, or in Texas - crack your windows in the summer to get some circulation. Looking for a more flush look than what weather tech provides, hence jdm/kdm type of profile.

Depending on how the glass and tolerance are you might have to get the ones that sticks to the side of the pillar, my roommates lexus has them where the lip on the visor goes inbetween the seal and causes the glass to roll up weird at times.

I had a low profile JDM one (bought while on a trip to Japan) for my '14 IS350. Was my favorite upgrade. Good point on tolerance - hoping to get some feedback from some forum members that would help clear these type of things up. If not, I may have to bite the bullet and buy the OEM version (more of a smokey translucent grey) and see how it looks.

PS - Did you have a chance to read my PM regarding the adaptive cruise cover?

I am also interested in these. Tired of water dripping in the car when I crack the window.
