If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Noticed today I have a rock chip on my windshield that just so happens to be directly on the rain sensor. Any suggestions on how to go about fixing this? Im wondering if i just fill in if it'll damage the sensor, and I want to avoid having to replace the entire windshield. Everything as of right now still works fine.

Leave it alone if it works.....I would, lol

Im just worried it'll spread.

In that case, keep an eye on it, and if it does - call your ins. company. Detectible for replacing the windshield should be around a $100.00 - that much I've paid when replacing heated one in my previous car 2013 Santa Fe.

I think I would have it professionally repaired before it spreads - because it will. Hope the rain sensor still works. But it's better then letting it spread and having to get a new windshield. The insurance thing depends upon whether you have glass coverage.

Wouldn't your insurance cover a repair or replacement????
