Windshield Scratches!!!

2010 Genesis 4.6....have some windshield scratches, but nothing you can dig your fingernail in....tried everything to remove them, so I ask:...can a glazier remove them if they are just surface scratches?

Have you tried glass polish? Meguiars has two varieties - regular and fine. I've had good luck with them - you can use a D/A polisher with them if you have one, otherwise you can apply by hand.

And congrats on the exclamation points!!! They're bound to attract extra attention to your posts!!! (No offense - just kidding)

I do not know where you are from, but here I had a pitting issue on my Murano. Called my ins. agent, a glass pro called me and asked me about it. I told him the pits hold enough water and dirt that I can not clear my windshield enough and it was affecting my vision.

Had a new windshield in a day with zero paperwork or cost.
