Wing on clear coat bra

Once again, gentlemen; will applying the hood wing emblem have any negative effect on the plastic hood coating? My thinking is that applying to plastic rather than the metal body, could the wing pull away from plastic like during a car wash?, resulting perhaps in tearing the plastic? Thanks in advance.

I placed mine on the clear bra...no problems to date.

I don't see an issue. I removed my wing to have the clear bra put on last week. I then applied the wing onto the clear bra as you are asking about. Only problem I can see is if you want to remove the wing, you will damage the clear bra.

Me too. I wash my car regularly with a pressure hose and the emblem doesn't budge while being sprayed.
