Winter rim colour?

Hi there. Just ordered my G70’s sport with winter wheel package. Siberian Ice. Does anyone have pics of either the Black or Hyper Silver OEM Rims? Can’t decide on what colour looks best on Siberian Ice Sport. Dealership says Black.

I ordered the silver rim but ended up getting the black. Happy they messed that up as I wanted the black from the start. I haven't put them on yet, but here are some quick shots I took after delivery.

They were a bit dusty in that picture. After wiping down and coating they are quite nice.

i think mine are a 'titanium' finish. if i had to do it over again i'd go with a darker finish. the euro sport brake pads that come w/6MT dust a lot and it shows on these rims.

Yea I figured. I'm planning on installing them in about two weeks when the temps are consistently low enough. It may be too late for you by then, but I'll try to update nonetheless!

That actually is perfect timing as I get my vehicle towards the end of the month and likely have a couple weeks to confirm fire colour. Keep me posted. So grateful!

I would call up your experience manager and ask him to arrange it for you. For reference, the rims are provided by Fast FC. It's my understanding that Genesis/Hyundai just sends them an order and Fast FC takes care of the rest (tires, filling them up, balancing).

This might help you make a decision. I'll still snap a picture once I have them on but a generated photo on siberian ice may still be better than a real life photo on my red car.

Yea so just deal with them directly. I bought from the showroom in Square One but the manager there is highly incompetent. Ended up receiving really good service at mississauga hyundai though.

@Bhavie also debating between black and silver. I think they sold me the same Michelin. i call this First World problems...

I'm a big fan of black rims but silver honestly looks better on the black car. Fits in way better with the chrome accents. +1 for silver rims imo.

Yea they pretty much only have the xice3 as the winter rubber now. I think they used to have a better tire but can't find it on their site anymore.

Thanks! Anyway, you should have seen the face of the sales dude as I asked for regular steel wheels. Here in Montreal, with the bad road conditions, the salt, the rocks, the sand (and all other crap) they put on our roads during winter, I was like, you don't sell regular steel wheels? Are you nuts putting nice rims in that salty slush on our roads... Guess I will! Chrome for the win! Thanks
