Wireless AA full screen

Can't seem to figure this out.
Sometimes AA in full screen mode, but then if you hit that bottom right corner button, it goes into split screen with YouTube music and news. Nothing is able to bring the full screen view back. Very frustrating.
Went into the setting, and full screen is enabled (and greyed out).

Press the Google Maps icon on the left to go full screen. Press it again to go back to split screen.
