Wireless charging ‘22 G70

Does not work well, any advice other than taking case off of phone - which is a pain

New case! That's what I had to do for my new GV80 & my iPhone 12 Pro Max. My OtterBox failed but I have high hopes for a thin one I just ordered from Amazon. Fingers crossed!!!

I never had a car/phone that allowed me to do this until a couple of months ago. I’m beyond impressed how easy it is to do and how well it works. I have an iPhone 11 with a rubber case that the ATT store sold me.

silicon case I12 in a '22 G70 charges fine but phone does get a bit warmer than plugged in.

I have a 12 Pro Max in an Apple Mag Pro leather case - it charges wirelessly in the G70, but not the GV80.

Just got a 22 G70 this week. iPhone 12 with TPU cover. A bit finicky where it needs to be but mine works best at the far left and back of the pad area. With speaker side on the right.

Has anyone found a case that works for iPhone in a GV80?
I have a simple, back & sides only, cheapo from Amazon that is fairly easy to take my iPhone 12 Pro Max out of in the event I need to charge it. Most times, I'm good for quite awhile using my wireless adaptor, but when I use Waze wirelessly, it sucks the juice out of the battery fairly quickly! (Thanks Google!)

2022 G70 3.3 - Iphone 12 pro with mag case - works fine but needs to placed just right. Also ensure it is turned on - mine came from the factory turned off - there is a setting in the vehicle settings menu.

I have a Spigen TPU case on my Galaxy and it charges on the pad. armored cases might be worse.

I’ve given up and have turned off the native wireless and am using a third party pad charger which works 10x.better. iPhone 12 with thin TPU case. Works fine on every other wireless. charger. Plus even when it do work on the car’s the charge rate was barely acceptable as noted.
