  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I love my ash gray interior with one exception- It is impossible to keep near-white floormats clean. I have never been one to buy aftermarket mats. I generally work hard to keep the originals clean. And this car has been no exception. I have lost it with the dealer (two different dealerships) when I get the car back and the mat is a mess. But, in their defense, I have tracked stuff in from the car wash (of all places) and had to remove and scrub the driver's matt.

With that said, has anyone purchased Witamats for their GV60? These look really interesting to me. They look very custom and seem like they would add a very nice touch to the interior while adding some cleanability to the floor. But, as with so many things on the internet, I fear that everything on their site 'looks to good to be true". I would love to have some real user/owner feedback from a source like this group.

Witamats® Diamond Line Custom Car Mats Set

Thanks in advance!

I have the white/gray interior package. The first thing I did was order a set of black GV60 floor mats. They work great and IMO look great as well.

Are you saying you ordered the Witamats mats? Or some other brand?

I looked up the street address given on the Witamats site - it's a strip mall anchored by a Smart'n'Final. I've actually been to that Smart'n'Final. Looking on Google Maps I don't see anything in that strip mall that looks like it could be Witamaps, unless they are in the Reilly Auto Parts store. There is also a post office box store but Google says it is closed. In any case the street address given on the Witamats site doesn't include a unit number, so that seems kind of fishy. I can definitely say that the "photo" they have of their facility is definitely not a building anywhere in Costa Mesa (I think it is probably AI).

There are a lot of reviews on YouTube, but most of them seem to be sponsored. But there do seem to be satisfied customers in the comments. Here is one YouTube that definitely isn't sponsored.

I considered buying a set of the OEM black mats. I have seen them for about $220 shipped. That makes the Witamats cheaper. I have no delusions about where these come from. If you read their FAQs they are very honest about the direct from China shipping. I watched the EV6 review and also this one.
I can't say that either make me uncomfortable. The EV6 and a Tesla video come with a 20% of promo code. I tried the Tesla one and it took a legit 20% off the current "deal" pricing.

The reviews seem favorable. But I agree with the concerns about reviews being bias. That last link didn't seem like it was sponsored by them. He seems pretty skeptical himself.

I searched high and low for a Genesis jacket from a reputable source. I ended up ordering from one of these "ghost companies" online. It took a few weeks to get through customs. It runs small (luckily I went up a size), but I get compliments and am generally pleased. My daughter bought a dress from a sketchy seller on Amazon. When she decided to return it, we had to ship back to some warehouse in CA. But, in the end, we received a full refund. Like it or not, direct to consumer from Asia does actually work fairly well.
