  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

If the removal is easy, I myself would consider replacing all the wood in my '09 with the 2012 black wood:) Hopefully someone knows.

Which brand of Carbon fiber you have in mind? I thought the after market wood trims go over the existing dash trim, and it does not need to be removed.

True, they do fit over the OEM wood with 3M tape, but it look slike SH*T:) I did this on my Elantra, and I didn't learn my lesson so I did this on my Sonata, which I ripped completly off after I installed it.

They do make Vinyl wraps with faux patterns which would probably be ok if applied correctly and much cheaper than dash kits, but more time consuming.

Interesting how KIA makes this piece below CF, but only one piece and not the rest of the kit. Would look a little funny with one mismatched piece I'd say. Plus, I'd never purchase anything from KAI again, so I'd have to find a different vendor.
