So I took my car for an appointment today to see what possible or not and this was the result.
The CF film they have looks real because is has real carbon inside it but because of that she said it’s less pliable which makes sense.
Mirror caps both side $250
Area behind sunroof $500
Hood $1000
Can’t do door handles or can but said it’s trouble in the long run but I’m barely opening any doors but still.
I asked if they will do my grill like the outter ring and she says no it gets too hot.
I’m like
because I am puzzled that my grill is hotter than my hood. I’ve never touched my grill and said wow that’s hot but the hood many times.
I just wanted some flat black over the flat black paint I did.
Does anyone feel like that statement is crazy? I mean the grill gets too hot?
As far as chrome delete I took care of that making my grill flat black and putting real carbon fiber in my front bumper and to be honest it to me looks better around the window that a flat black would on my dark gray car with lots of real carbon fiber on it.
I have seen it in white or black and it does look better just feel like it breaks up my Carbon Fiber quite nice.
My exhaust tips are also flat black too. I do have those little chrome pieces on the rear bumper but it’s tiny and rests between the gray car and carbon diffuser and is literally hard to see.
I guess it’s that grill comment LOL I just do not believe it gets hot at all anymore than the mirrors.
