Wrapping roof with black vinyl

Has anybody wrapped their white or silver Genesis roof with black vinyl 3M type wrap? This is a fairly common mod in other car communities and some cars IE Mercedes E350 sport come from the factory with a black roof. I have a silver 5.0 r Spec and am thinking of taking the plunge with the roof wrap.

This guy painted his roof black but it looks the same as if it was wrapped, which is what I'd do:

Looks good but I'm not sure if it'd look good on a bone stock r Spec.

Black Vinyled Roof

Hello. I'm new to the Hyundai community and here are some pics of a fairly popular mod that I've done to my 3.8 recently. For the wrap I used 3M 1080 Series Gloss Black along with knifeless tape to trim the vinyl (yup, no x-actos used here). The antenna fin was dipped with matte black. (I chose to go with matte: 1. because my previous C300 already had a factory matte fin so i said "sure, why not". and 2. got lazy and didn't want to bother spraying another coat of glossifier and 3. I really liked the finished look)
