Y Switch for exhaust?

Hey,

I'm trying to figure out where I saw this. I was at a party and this guy showed me a video where when you switch from auto to tiptronic, it dumped the exhaust.

I found an eBay page that has what I think I'm talking about. Does anyone know of someone that's done this with their Genny?

You're thinking of an electronic exhaust cut out. There is a guy with a white second gen that has done it and has videos. Search the second gen forum, or youtube for something like "genesis cut out" and I bet you will find it. I doubt anyone has it set up to correspond with their shifting mode, but ,most electronic cut outs are run by a simple switch or button. There are newer vehicles (C7 Z06 and Lamborghini Hurican come to mind) that have car-controlled exhaust baffles that open or close depending on which mode the vehicle is in. (race vs comfort mode, corsa vs sport mode etc)

The username of the white 2nd gen that's being referred to is Huddleston. Search his name and his vids and you should find it. His car is sick.
