Hello everybody!
This is my first post here. Hope this is the right place.
I'm french speaking so be indulgent.
I modify the lightning set up on my 2010 4.6 sedan. I didn't like the yellowish color of the OEM DRL (low voltage low beams). So I took the oldschool route and use a yellow 2500K H8 fog as DRL like Chrysler does on the Challenger. The fogs/DRLs turn on as I start the engine but still retain the fog function when I switch to headlights. I can still control the fog with the OEM fog switch and I also can get the fogs without the low beams for bad weather driving. It is a very simple mod requiring two relays, one fused add-a-circuit and few lenghts of wire. If one prefers white led DRLs, it's also possible with this mod with different connections. Now I can change my high beam bulbs with Philips CrystalVision to match the color of my OEM HID. They should last a while because they are no longer use as DRL but only as high beam.
