YES, I did it!!! 2011 4.6 Finally!

After all the wait, research, and countless competitor test drives I finally bought my Hyundai Genesis 4.6. Satin Pearl/Cashmere all options.

Drove 6 hours roundtrip to get it. That drive back was the sweetest ride I have had in a long time. Gave me 3.5 hrs to learn & play with all the buttons. The car has met and exceeded all my expectations....and I had a lot! What a ride. Thanks to all for your help coming to this decision.

Don't you just love it when a plan comes together. Research pays off and you get what you want when all facets of the deal present themselves. My wife always says I over research every purchase, but I rarely if ever over pay or get something that I later regret. that is some nice tint ... did you get it done at the dealer?

Thanks guys. Already ahead of you on the rebadge. I got it included in my deal. Here is what else I got included without paying extra:

* Tint - darker on rear sides and back window and lighter on front sides
* Rebadge completed
* iPod cable included
* Trunk Cargo Tray
* Trunk net
* Floor mats

Before I left, my iPhone phonebook downloaded perfectly all my contacts. I had my presets on AM/FM/XM all set up "favorites" by the time I got home.

I also set my Nav for home and got hungry on the way, so I searched POI, Category, Restaurants along route....and pulled into a Denny's as my Way Point 1...while still continuing on my home route after eating. All the while, I continued to work my knob "" while navigating menus and talking on my handsfree buletooth phone...SAFELY. I should start a thread on this....

Ah, white like my '09! Welcome to the club! After 20,000 plus miles, I still just adore this vehicle!

I did buy a new phone and came here to have someone help me with the bluetooth connectivity instructions just the other day. What a great family!

When this lease for me is over in 2012, barring any major automotive changes, i would lease another Genny. (Looked at the specs for the Equus, and love it, but I just do not need all that it has to offer).

And after a year and a half of leasing, along with those 20K accumulated miles, why, just the other day I met my brother at a bank to do some business, (he's seen my Genny a million times) and even then he still said to me when I pulled into the parking lot, "that sure is a good lookin' car" ! (No comments about me, his lovely sister, tho)....

Congratulations Driv200, you made an excellent choice. I have had mine now for around 6 months and almost to hit 15K. I did a little mod work on it but kept it simple. It is the best ride I have ever owned, combining luxury with performance and a great look, Hyundai has broke the mold
Well depending on the new Equus, but I will always love my Gennie.

* Duel exhaust tips, without changing exhaust.

Congrats! I have had mine 1 month and 1000 miles. Love it so far. Biggest problem is operator error. I can't digest 600 pages of owner's manual too fast.
