  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

ok awhile back there was a vid of a Genesis Coupe on You Tube facing off against a 370Z and a Gt Mustang, well the end result is the Coupe ran a respectable 14.2 and 99 MPH but losing to both the Z and the GT. now the forum i live on Streetkiaz.com is in a heated debate on how it's a let down. so i would like to know if this car is a good car to own? and performance wise how well does it hold to those 2 cars? now the test really don't tell you what motor or trans it has in it, i assumed it was the 3.8 but buy the looks and sound it is a 2.0T with a Auto. Anyone see this vid? and if so what is your comments?

Apparently HMA "detuned" the factory ECU to safeguard the engine. The factory setting of the ECU will cut boost to the turbo when approaching redline. After the faceoff comparison, HMA engineers re-programmed the ECU to keep the boost pressure up and the final result was about the same as the other two cars. The ECU tuning can be done by any reputable tuners.
