I don't know how folks can keep their cars looking good for years. I do my best to no avail. I park away from the crowd and am willing to walk great distances at malls. Without fail someone in an SUV, Pick-up or Beater will park next to me while I'm away. It's like they're attracted to shiney objects.
So I've got a collection of scratches and scrapes on the outside of a car that is only 13 months old.
Now, my beloved wife, the biggest klutz around, has accidentally put 2 deep scratches in the plastic insert located right below the CD slot. Did it with her purse. It's not a big deal (none of it is) but someday I'd like to get it fixed. I'm thinking I'd probably have to relace that piece.
Anybody know of a fix? If it was wood, it'd add to the character. Deep scratches in plastics just look bad.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
