New KAI Items Coming!

A little bird tells me that we should be watching the KAI site over the coming weeks. A couple of things that will be added....

• Trunk Speaker Cover at a great price (I know some are getting them free, but for those who are not...)
• Stainless/chrome stuff like:
• Fuel Door Cover
• License Plate Bezel
• Rocker Panel

I'm not a KAI spokeman and I'm not compensated for my comments in any way (I don't even play one on TV), but I've enjoyed working with them. For full disclosure, they have used pics of my car to show off some of the enhancements they sell (no compensation offered and none accepted).

I can tell you that they are concerned with honesty and integrity. I'll start another thread that talks about Hyundai's logo copyrights and some issues that we all need to watch for.

Dern good question! When I picked mine up at the dealer, it was in a heavy duty plastic bag with part# identifying stickers on it. I've seen UPS handle that kind of -shipment-in-a-bag kinda thing in the past.

BTW- I installed mine and it literally took 10 minutes. 5 of that was getting my 56yr old, 6'1" 270lb butt in and out of the trunk

I suppose they are complaining to dealers about why the v8's come with a subwoofer cover and the v6's don't come with one. The dealers are relenting on the complaints and providing the cover. I guess the dealers are ignoring the extra few thou the v8 costs along with the extras.

If KAI is reading this thread: I hope you guys are considering fabricating wing wheel caps for the 18" wheels on the 4.6! I'll bet almost every 4.6 owner on this site will order a set!

Got my trunk cover fitted at the dealer today for free (no cost for the part or fitting). I included a note in the trunk cover thread.

Just wanted to note here, in my case there was no complaining or negotiation involved. I simply asked it be fitted as the Genesis is now shipping with the cover. The service rep hinted Hyundai corporate may be paying for these additions currently.
