  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I'd be careful with them, most people have gone away from using one because they don't breathe well and the paint will not fade across the car evenly. If wanting some sort of protection for the front of your car look into the clear body armour by 3m or other companies. Make sure they are offering at least a 5+ year warranty on it. I have it on my cars headlights, foglights, front bumper, mirrors, side rocker panels and a small strip on the trunk lip where you would load stuff in the car. It's been a great product, cost me somewhere around $425 and has saved the car a few times from what would have been chips in the paint and love bugs here in FL.

Where did you find one? I've thought about getting one for trips

Trust me I know what you are talking about, I'm also from Fl and them love bugs can be murder on your paint. I don't leave the bra on, It only goes on before a road trip, and comes off as soon as I'm back home. What I have always done is wash my car prior to putting on bra this way the paint is clean and dust and grime free.

I can't do a clear bra as the my car is a 2010 and is in very good condition, but its not a brand new 2012/13 so the front end does have a few imperfections.

Now the reason why I was asking is there is a difference of about $125 between both Bras and I was wondering if any one here had them.

I know that LeBra and Colgan both have a vinyl bras the LeBra part number is 551301-01A and Colgan part number is BC3471BC (no sensors and no license plate opening)BC3473BC if you have both license plate opening & sensors.

Hope this helps you out.

Thanks - I will look into!

I have had the Colgan for more than a year. I complained to Colgan about it but got no reply. It attaches inside the fenderwell on the car's plastic headed screws. I could tell that the canvas straps would be rubbing the fender lip so I always put a strip of painter's tape on the lip to prevent damage from the strap. I also had to rebend the 2 other fenderwell pieces that wrap around the fenderwell lips. They merely sat on the lip and became unattached very easily.

If you could please take a picture so we can see what exactly the problem is. I have a pretty good idea but just to make sure. In the past I have always purchased the OEM bra, but hyundai does not have the Genesis Sedan front mask/bra option as accessory so this is why I'm looking to the aftermarket

Any idea if either of these will fit a 2013 R-Spec?

Can you take a picture of the bra on your car and of the problems that you are outlining
