Well, assuming my sales person is correct: Hyundai Equus does not include remote start
It has a heated steering
wheel, it has adaptive cruise control, four zone temperature, it has heated seats, cooled seats, power seats, massaging seats, power foot rest seats, sun shade in the back, two on the sides, and a refrigerator to keep ur drinks nice and cold... but no remote start.
BTW I just bought one this weekend. Like an idiot, i assumed it had it, honestly, I probably would not have bought it if I knew that it did not include remote start. I half blame that idiot on YouTube... "Hi everyone! How's it going. Today? I am going to do complete review of the blah blah blah."... "So let's start it up..." Dumb Dumb holds up his hand, with remote in it, pushes the button twice, and the car appears to start... ooo wait, did u watch that closely? He cuts away just as you THINK the car just started... he just UNLOCKED THE DOORS, and because he is a tool to his own video format, cut away just as the engine is suppose to start. "Does it have remote start?" "Of course it does, even the guy on YouTube did it..."
Before you freak out, I have a good reason for wanting remote start.
My 2011 Dodge Charger RT/MAX Hemi, a car that costs $26,000 less, can do it. My wife's 2012 Hyundai Sonata can do it... Almost wishing I didnt trade in the Charger for the Equus.
Anyways... when remote starting the Charger, if it is cold out, and I live in MN, it is always fricken cold out.. except today, it was 96 degrees, 10 days ago I was snow blowing a foot of snow, I am not kidding... the Charger will turn on the heated steering
wheel, heated seats, and of course warm up the engine and turn up the heat... SORRY, super fancy new Equus will NEVER do that, I can pay $600 to put in a
aftermarket, push button friendly, remote start... but that will only start the engine, nothing else, and i have second lame remote next the the one i already have, that sucks, when u went a year with a cheaper car that was always warm and toasty, now ur new 'better' car, is cold morning after morning... LAME
I guess I should of known, I owned a 2010 er something Genesis, I knew it didnt have remote start, but didnt realize how expensive it was to add to it... never did. Makes sense that Equus wouldnt have it either.
Anyone wanna buy a brand-new 2011 Hyundai Equus Ultimate for $43,000?
Otherwise, the car is growing on me. But I am having a little BR
