I currently have it folded over into a V shape, which I don't think is correct. I feel so stupid. Any pics?

Maybe it would be stretched when you put something inside the net (like groceries). So, it should be in an L shape, with the rear hooks over the metal loops as shown, the middle loops of the floor hooks near the trunk opening, and the front hooks over the large plastic round tabs higher up on the rear trunk wall? I'll try that, but it seems the vertical segment of the net wouldn't be stretched like that.
That's not installed as it was intended. The middle loops go to the hooks that are at the bottom near the bumper and the corner loops go on the round hooks by the trap-doors to access the rear blinkers.
I am not sure there is a right or wrong way to use the net. I currently have mine connected as you suggest. However it appears the net can be configured to hold down whatever you have in your trunk. Even items on the floor as suggested in the pictures. Whatever works. As long as you have something to attach the net to!

Hyundai dealer parts department.Where can i find a net? Mine didnt come with one
Always be sure to request the employee discount when dealing with the parts departments. It always works for me and it's especially satisfying after I hear them tell me the retail customer price. Just tell them you would prefer to buy it from them instead of on the Internet.
I know the following pics don't show a genesis. But still, gave me some more creative ideas:

If you attach the middle loops to the bottom hooks and both, the front and back loops to the two plastic hooks up higher you will create a pocket.![]()
