Is this the correct size for the hood badge

I just placed on the hood with tape to take a pic of my KDM hood badge, and now I'm wondering if this is the correct size. It looks big, or is it just me?

From the upper wingtip to wingtip is measures at 7.25

Here is mine.. Not sure of the size as i dont have a tape measure with me.. But looks similar to your size.. I like it

Yes, that is correct. It should be larger than the trunk one, and very slightly curved. Should be 1" above the chrome trim (based on KDM versions which have them factory installed).

Yes that it is, after looking at it with and without it I think that I won't be putting one on the hood. I just looks cleaner with out it
 
I am having a "clear bra" put on my 2013 Genesis. I also want to put the Genesis hood emblem on. My plans now are to put the bra on and then put the hood emblem on the bra. I think the hood emblem double sided tape will stick to the bra material. Anyone have any experience with this???

I placed mine on the clear bra...and after numerous car washes, both hand and mechanical, the emblem has not moved a bit with the double-sided tape.
 
Thanks DubaiRich, that was what I was hoping to hear. Getting the bra put on tomorrow and the emblems are on order from Korea via Ebay.
