  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Another small little mod to make geny unique

Anyone else have these yet?

What happens if you screw in the license plate bolts and the wings are not horizontal? Can you adjust the wings independently?

Hmm disnt think of that.. Guess trial and error until i get them straight

i would think some lockwashers would let you position them any way you need and hold em in place

Good thinking. I need to get some sort of license plate decor put on mine. These bolts are pretty neat.

The bolts are nice but damn, $40!!!

that was my thought.

ps if you see a Titanium 2013 rspec sedan driving around, its probably me. I live in Land O Lakes

That makes sense for korean plates, but sucks for US plates:rolleyes: I'd consider it if it was 4, lol.

Obviously, but that's one short of a set for folks here with two plates.
I am not sure that 4 of those wing bolts are practical anyway. Probably best to use 2 regular bolts to attach the plate to car, and then use 2 of the winged bolts to attach the plate to the plate holder. You can keep the wings straight and level of the ones that attach to the plate holder (because you can reach behind the plate holder and screw in the nut), but I don't see how you can keep the wings straight on the ones that attach to the car.

Personally, I have enough wings and don't need any on my plates.

oh come on, for pete's sake! I was expecting something worth while... not a license plate frame.

Hence the title..."small little mod"

A 3 bolt package????

Keep in mind if you want to use those for the rear plate you need two sets of 3. Sadly the set includes two sheetmetal screws and one bolt. The sheetmetal ones will not work on the back plate.

Ah, license plate frames....I was glad I was not going to have to look at another set of "Car Lashes"....

LOL! Can't wait to see those on a Genny posted on this forum. Too funny.

Hence the title..."small little mod"

or a small waste of our time, I would say that a "small mod" would qualify as lets say new wheels, suspension, lighting, a steering wheel badge at best wouldn't you say so.

Not a plate frame, for that you could have just applied a "hello kitty" decal!
