  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2010 and 2011 do not have power folding mirrors.

Only 2012 and 2013 models.

Page 4-47 of my owners manual has a description. The switch to fold the mirrors is just in front of the four-way mirror switch on the driver's door.

If you want the mirrors to fold in when you park the car leave the left/right switch in either position (not center) and the mirrors will fold when you turn off the ignition.

Never mind. I found out they don't!!!!

It's so hard to believe the items that came with my 08 Azera Ltd aren't even available on the Genesis. smh

You must have a newer model than mine. I have the '10. Which do you have?

eIn the U. S. A. the Model years prior to 2012 do not have power folding mirrors.

My 2013 folds mirrors while in center position by clicking FOB twice to lock vehicle. To unfold click twice to open vehicle.

2012 R-spec. It would be nice if the mods could change the board so that we could put the year into the car description. With all the changes from year to year it might save some confusion and a lot of posts.

My 2009 Genesis Sedan comes with human power folding side view mirrors. Comes with lifetime warranty.

Landtuna, please elaborate on this. My 2012 will not fold the mirrors in automatically irregardless of the position of the remote switch. They will, however, tilt down when the car is in reverse if the remote switch is in either the left or right position. I'd be interested in knowing if there is some other setting that allows yours to fold in when you park your car.

Retry, I was about to pose the same question. I can open and fold the mirrors with the keyfob or by pushing the button on the left near the where you operate the power windows. My 2012 Tech/Premium folding mirrors never close automatically. Wish I could get them to open or close automatically. Does anybody besides Landtuna have a setting to autofold the mirrors when shutting down the engine?

Why is it that Mark triple8 interprets and understands the last 5 years of Hyundai and 67% do not! *SIGH* Anyway. Let me express that I am very pleased of how may new members have joined in the last 12 months. Mark you pretty much summed up the last at very least 3 years of what matters in this large internet pool of stupid knowledge.:D

As a follow-up to my first post, are the left/right mirrors not heated either?!

Again, 2010 Sedan 4.6L w/Tech package.

I really like a lot of things about this car, but, dayum..... why have they deleted items that came with an Azera Ltd.??!!

I feel special...

My 2012 has heated and folding side mirrors.

My 2013 R-Spec doesn't fold the mirrors automatically. Should it?

Manual folding works fine, but I want them to fold when the car goes off.

Hit lock twice upon exit and it should fold them in. Unlock twice folds out

Sorry I guess I wasn't clear. The button to fold mirror works fine, however I don't think the car was designed to auto fold the mirrors on shut off.
