  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have scoured my manuals and cannot find instructions on how to load the 6-disc cd changer. Can anyone help? Thanks

Don't sweat it too much. You only have a one CD player in the '13.

they swapped out the 6 DVD changer of the DIS system of the 2011s for a single loaded one? I mean it makes sense (who uses CDs anymore?) but still seem like a strange cut back?

Thank you, I was afraid that was the answer. For a novice, what is the best way to load multiple songs? MP3?

Yes, you can fill CDs with mp3s, or plug in a thumb drive in your center console's USB port. If you do not know how to do that, do what the rest of us do; ask your children or grandchildren.

I use my iPhone and Itunes and "Itunes Match" to keep my music collection on my Phone. With Music Match all my music is stored on Apples servers and can be downloaded as needed by all my devices. That way I can have a large collection of music available. the music is in 256kbps AAC format and I find that very close to CD quality and good enough for the excellent audio system in the G.

To make that work you need to buy a Hyundai IPOD cable and if you, like me, have an Iphone 5 a 30pin to 5 pin adapter.

Thanks for all the replies. The Lexicon system is great!!!!!

I am answering this a little early in my ownership of the 2013, but my very new 3.8 with Tech Package has a manual that mentions something like a 40GB built-in memory to store music. Today I located the "copy" command on the system. Apparently you can put a disk in, then copy it to memory. I haven't tried it yet.

I have tried the USB link and it works much faster than my 2010 did. The first USB drive that I connected simply would not work. It is a USB3, so that may have been the problem, even though they are supposed to be backwards compatible. The USB2 drive works.

Check the format of the usb drive using a PC (right-click > properties). If it is not FAT32, reformat it to FAT32 and try again.

My USB drives are all FAT32, as this seems to be a standard for them. BUT... yesterday, I read in my 2013 manual that the car will read NTFS and FAT.

Ahh, perhaps ntfs then.
