I've decided that I want the wings on my new R-Spec. Before I order I wanted to verify that I'm ordering the right thing since it seems like there's been some question that over time.

It looks like these are the front and rear badges:

and these are the steering wheel logo and wheel caps for the R-Spec's 19" wheels:

Are these correct? Do the wheel caps and steering wheel logo look seamless when installed? I know on the latter that they're not OEM since that requires an entire airbag swap...

Thanks much! Looking forward to getting these on new ride!

The items you have listed appear to be correct. However, just a couple of months back I purchased the same parts from an EBay supplier for about $56.00 including shipping. As long as the parts carry the KDM part numbers, they are the same. As far as the steering wheel that is aftermarket, but looks fine (although some purists disagree with that). Also, there are a couple of variants for the hood. There is one that is about an inch wider and I found that to be more appealing, but it’s an individual choice. For my money, EBay is the better choice for those parts.

Thanks, guys. Trying to decide about the steering wheel. I might just leave that alone after all. I'm not sure if I'm going to put on the hood emblem either. I think the trunk emblem and wheel caps might do it for me. I like the clean look of the hood and grille as they are now. Of course, once I get the parts, I might have a change of mind. We'll see!

I'm with you in this group, did the wheels, the trunk & the center on the steering wheel. I love the clean look of the front.

It looks like Seoulfulracing has the wings for half the price of Korean Auto Imports:

I tried to match up part numbers but was not able to find one on KAI. Do you guys know if these are the exact same parts? If so, does anyone know why there's such a price difference?

Assuming for a moment that the wings from Seoulfulracing are legit, which wheel caps from them are correct for the 19s on my R-Spec? I don't see any there that look quite like these from KAI:

I could certainly order from two vendors, but I'd prefer to consolidate my order if possible. Thoughts?

+2 with caveat. The airbag sticks so far just fine on top of the "H". The quality is fair only. Unless you look up close, those in the car sitting in the other seats will not likely notice. Unless they are vain German car Kool-aid drinkers looking for anything to justify their phallic symbol cars the are so brainwashed about. (Admin: I am teasing our fine American citizens who drink the German auto Kool-Aid. All with a smile). I think I am the most annoyed looking at it up close as a driver. Again, I will keep it there until I decide to pony up for the Korean Airbag with the real cool winged logo.

Did anyone have any insights about Seoulfulracing's emblems that I linked above and/or whether they have wheel caps for the R-Spec 19"s? I just had the car tinted today (30% ceramic all around) and would love to put in an order for wings to finish off the appearance!

The link you have to koreanautoimports is for a set of metal caps that go over your existing H emblem wheel caps. The parts from Seoulfulracing are actual hyundai parts. I ordered the rear wing badge and the wheel caps from Seoulfulracing and am very pleased with them. They all came in sealed hyundai parts bags. The wheel caps that fit the R-Spec wheels are the 17's that have a carbon fiber look.

I love the Steering Wheel "H" cover - best alternative than the new airbag -

Thanks! Can you confirm that these are the correct items if I just want the rear emblem, wheel caps, and steering wheel emblem?

Rear emblem: http://sfrusa.3dcartstores.com/Genesis-Sedan-KDM-Emblem-TRUNKTAIL-GATE_p_333.html

Wheel caps and steering wheel: http://sfrusa.3dcartstores.com/KDM-17-wheel-cap-set-Steering-wheel-emblem_p_336.html

Once I get confirmation, I'll go ahead and place the order.

Thanks again!

Those are the exact parts I ordered save the steering wheel badge. I did not order that. I think you will be very happy with them.

Thanks for the help! I ordered everything but the front emblem this morning and it's shipped already. I may actually still do the front emblem. I saw one on another Genesis the other day and it actually looks better than I'd expected. We'll see...

Okay, the wings came in yesterday. The wheel caps were easy and look great. I decided to wait until today to put on the back emblem when I more light.

I tried to put on the steering wheel emblem but couldn't get it quite to my satisfaction. I'm hoping for some guidance from folks who have put that on. The emblem comes with tape already on its backing that's cut to the exact same shape, plus a second elliptical piece of tape that's a little smaller than the emblem itself. The first issue I hit is that the tape that's already on the emblem bubbled up pretty badly, so I had to pop those bubbles or obviously it wouldn't sit flag. Then when I tried to fit it over the existing "H" steering wheel emblem, some of the tape was sticking out a little, keeping it from sealing cleanly. I pulled that back up and that tape was pulling off, so I just went with it and pulled it off completely thinking I could use the smaller, separate piece of tape, and of course I bent the emblem slightly in the process.

So right now I don't have the wing steering wheel emblem, but I actually did like the way it would look and have no problem ordering another one. I'd just like to know the best way to apply it to make it look as seamless as possible before I try again. Does anyone have guidance? Is there already a thread on this somewhere?

Yes, there are multiple threads on this. I think most people have said that the extra tape is normally not needed. Other than that, I don't recall anything else you would need to know (other than do not try and remove the existing H, which I assume you know).

Just put on the trunk lid emblem. Managed to use the blow dryer/dental floss/goo gone method to remove the Flying H. It still took me something like 10-15 minutes and a LOT of broken dental floss, and most of the adhesive was left behind after I got the emblem off, but as someone had said, it just kind of rolled off like the adhesive used to hold some ads in magazines. The good thing is there was zero scratching or abrasion of the trunk lid!

The car looks REALLY nice with the wheel caps and rear emblem! It seems kind of silly how much it changes the car, but it does IMO.

30% tint...done.
Wing wheel caps...done.
Wing trunk emblem...done.
Wing hood emblem...TBD.
Wing steering wheel emblem...TBD.
Hard-wired radar detector...soon.
