  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello,

I Currently own a 2011 Hyundai Genesis 2011 4.6L. I was thinking about purchasing a set of 19" R-Spec Rims. I was curious if there is any issues with these fitting on my car before I fork out a lot of money.

Any responses would be great thanks.

The R Spec wheels will fit your car just fine. No issues.

You might need to re-calibrate the speedometer.

How do you 're-calibrate' the speedometer? Is there a setting screw somewhere that needs to be adjusted?

2011 came with 235/50-18, so if you put 235/45/19 from R-spec, speedometer will be off by -0.27%

it will read:

Reading at 30mph existing 30mph new 29.92mph
Reading at 60mph existing 60mph new 59.84mph

I guess, you can live with that ;)
