Vinyl smoked heads/tails

Hi guys. Has anyone used vinyl to smoke their head and taillights? Id love to see pics. I have a white genesis and i think a light smoke on the headlights and taillights would look amazing. Let me know.,

Ive had my headlights tinted and tails tinted before with no probs.

^ Meaning that if you're going to apply a tinted film over your taillights you might as well do your headlights..................................

Most people want more light on the road, not ~30 or 60% (typical headlight tint) less.

^Example tinted heads/tails. Not everyone's cup, but I often go for tinted tails and like the look (I usually prefer black housing headlights but haven't gotten there yet with this car). Sorry for the quality.

Those look amazing! Can you post more of the headlights? I like but want darker. When i do the taillight i will only do the red part of the lens.

I just did quick photoshop on left tail light and I think it look good, more european style...better than the whole thing, no?

Dareck Go for it. I like the look of it knowing it's photo shopped.

I'm not a big fan of tinted tail lights....perhaps, it would look better on darker car.
I'll be tinting windows in next month or so, I may ask them though.

Half comparison.



This is after I first put them on last summer. They looked a bit purple then (the instructions said they would), but as they dried over the months they started looking grayer. Light output wasn't diminished horribly, but I definitely wouldn't go any darker.
