  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

...and I still love her like I did on day one.

Here are couple of pics I snapped on Sunday afternoon, at the end of the day.

Still looks new !! :) may she rumble down the road for many years to come.....

My 2010 still looked great when I traded her in last November and I'm really liking my 2013, will be looking forward to a new Genny again in a few years..give or take lol.

She's so perdy! Nice to get the car clean again, eh?

When I clean mine, it rains!! :(

Still looking good.

I'm the same as you. Mine turned 2 back in Nov but I still like it just the same and still get comments about her.

Looks Great!!
What kind/type/% of window tint do you have? I like the look. It's what I'm looking for.

Thats the kind of picture that makes one reconsider a 2014....

Such a beaut!! I couldnt leave mine stock like that! Mods Mods! :)

Two years? ... sounds more like "one night stand" :D

I had my second 540i/6 for 11 years! it was a true love...I let her go, over a year ago and still miss her.

Beautiful car, sir. She looks good! ;) I hope I'll keep my R-spec as long as you...or even longer :)

Looks great but what does this have to do with the 2015's?

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Thank you for the nice comments. And yes... that night, I left the car outside and it got all wet. Then it rained the next day. And the bugs on the windshield... ugh, I hate early spring!

Looks Great!!

I had to look back at an earlier thread. Full window tint (35%), except for the windshield, of course - sputtered metal film for better heat and UV rejection, reduced fragmentation of glass in case of accidents - lifetime warranty on film and labor. I don't remember what I paid; it was a package deal with my new car detail, but I think it was in the $150-$200 range for just the tint job. Haven't noticed any interference with the radio... but I don't usually listen to FM (and never AM).

Good catch! I moved the thread to 2009-2014. Thanks.

Great pics. She looks like new still.

Another black beauty!
Likewise I'd try to keep her as long as I kept the LS400, 16 years!

Thanx. That looks soooo sweat on a black car. Mine's not black tho, so I may go with a 45%. My shop quoted me $200 for ceramic 45%.

And these may just be the last two pictures of my Genny:

Might be trading it in for a Santa Fe. Family priorities have changed!

Sorry to hear that. You were a ROCK here at one time and we would miss you.

Thanks Ernie - nice to hear. I'll still be around for a while...

Sad to hear that, but you'll like the new Santa Fe.

I've had SFS 2.0T AWD for over a year, then I traded in for an R-spec...it was fun to drive, I must admit....but You can't compare the two, it's just a different animal.

Since we both liked that car, we also traded in my Wife's 2010 SF for a brand new 2014 SF V6 290HP with 3rd row and she absolutely loves it! :D

That's what I'm getting - the Santa Fe 7-seater, Premium and Tech packages.

I'm gonna miss my Gennie a TON. I really love this car - best one I ever owned.

But I'm especially gonna miss:

- Smart Cruise Control - I use it everyday
- HID headlights
- The V8
- The looks I still get on a daily basis, especially when she's clean

:(

But I need the extra seats.
