Trunk won't open

I picked up my 4.6 Saphire Blue today and couldn't be happier except for the fact that I cannot open the trunk! The only way to open is with the key. I've pulled on the driver side door button, pushed the key fob button, pushed the button on the underside lid of the trunk - no dice.

Could it be a fuse?

Have you made sure that the trunk lock switch in the glove box isn't on the "trunk locked" setting?

Yes - that was the first thing I checked. I will try that once more to be sure.

EDIT - it now works - I swear I checked that button in the glovebox. I feel silly.

I also thought I had that problem. It seems when you press the fob to open the trunk, it doesn't pop right open....you have to keep pressing for a second or two and then it opens.

I discovered there is a button under the trunk lid. You can keep you Key Fob in your pocket and push the button. It's the center black button to the right of the light.

Thanks! I've had mine for almost 3 months and didn't know about the trunk switch!

Now my "keys" can stay in my pocket all the time!

I also got the tech. It will take some getting used to the DIS when changing stations. I noticed that when tuning using Tuning and Seek you can select multiple HD stations per channel, but not when in Preset mode. Does that sound right?

Otherwise, I put the rear/front wings and the wheelcaps on yesterday and it looks fantastic!!!

I like the Sapphire Blue. Make sure you post some pictures if you can.
