  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I wonder if these would work? Similar part number.

I'd recommend spending more $ per bulb than what you have linked. The product you show appears to be cheap bulb construction. The cheap LED's usually don't last very long, and either the bulb starts the "strobe" effect, or they just fail completely (heat related failure due to a constant on application). I put bulbs in mine back in early 2009 and they still work with no issues.

Does anyone have any pics of headlights/fog lights/parking lights, of a 2013 R-spec at night time? All I've seen are tail lights. Please post if you do, thanks.:D

Alright guys, another update...

Replaced the door light. One so far, I just wanted to see if it will match interior LED lights and guess what? ...it match perfectly!

Sylvania 168/194/2825 Premium White LEDriving Bulb

available at Walmart for $9.99 or AutoZone $12.99 (I bought it from AutoZone)

Bunch of pictures here. I know, they look crappy, but I had no time to set up my full body camera on a tripod, so I've used my iphone again :o

Bosh Icons will go on next week, when I return from the trip to California.

(I might get something brighter for the trunk in the future)

I'd like to do this as well. Are the 2825's for the doors and 3175's for the trunk?

Yes Sir, that is correct. As I said those in the trunk are not too bright, but why would I need a halogen" inside the trunk? :D

Thanks.

If anyone is looking for a decent, plain black frame for the license plate, I got a couple [ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00236XLA0"]of these[/ame]. Simple, maintenance free, and reduces plate rattle when closing the trunk.

Sorry, no pics, but it's just a frame.

I found these but they do not look like the same white you've got.
Would this do the trick as well?
And these for the doors right?

Yes, 168 is correct size for the doors. They look little bit taller than mine, though....but they'll fit in no problem.
It says "cool white" - I assume they are 6000k as well. Yea, go for 'em

edit:

I just checked specs on them...yes, they are 6000k!

Nice looking rides and good bulb selection.

If you haven't seen it already here is the Genesis Lighting Thread. Full bulb list, lots of good info and pics in there.

I thought the reverse lights were super weak on my 10' so I installed the CREE 5W reverse lights from diodedynamics. They are the stage 2 upgrade for $59.99. Bulbs are long and barely fit but the extra light is definitely worth it. Super bright. I've purchased hundreds of dollars in bulbs from diodedynamics over the years. Highly recommend them.

I know that thread, its been in my bookmarks and I've read every post there, before I decided what I want :D

Dareck, how do you replace the under door lights? I haven't bought the bulbs yet, but looked yesterday under the doors - no screws. Which I suppose is a good thing so nothing will rust.

Do I gently use a flat head on one side and wedge it out?

Thanks...

Yep, just like that. :)
