Well i think the tire size of my 2012 genesis is too small, and its too small for gennys size, especialy the width, from rear the genny lacks aggressive look because tires are not wide enough, my tire dimentions are 235/50 R18 i want wider tires but i dont know wich size is the best and not gonna effect car handling and ride, any one has experiense about that, i will be glad if any one help. Thanks
 
That will make the ride a bit bouncy but the handling will be smooth...

Thanks alot, so which tire dimensions you prefer, what is the best width that can make genny look more aggressive from rear and doesn't effect ride alot?

But in general a wider stance will do the same thing. Just make sure your rubber isn't too sticky.

On the tires that is. Also be careful that if you go too wide you can get into a rubbing situation.
 
I'm running a 10.5" in the rear. No issues before alignment, but once they lessened the negative camber, there is a little hint of a rub occasionally.

I am lowered about 1.5" from stock, with a slight stretch on the tire.

I know someone that was running 11" rears, but he was on air.

Are you talking about replacing both the rims and tires or just putting wider tires on the stock rims?

I'm new to this forum, but I have done many wheel and tire upgrades in the past on several different cars. You can use any online
Tire size calculator that you could find but this is the one I use: http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Tire-Size-Calculator

You can vary slightly from original diameter but your speedometer will be slightly off. As long as you are aware of that and drive accordingly you will be fine. But keep in mind that if your car was designed to hypothetically shift gears at 12 mph and you have larger diameter tires you will be shifting at 14 miles per hour. Again, not a big deal as there's no way you can fit a tire that would be 10% larger on the car! the real difference needs to be less than 4%.

Isn't this what they call "+0" in tire-speak? A +1 would be a rim size change (18 to 19). A +0 would be wider with a different profile number on the same size rim to make the rotation approximately the same (since the profile is a ratio).

I did that on my '02 Passat 1.8T. Stock was 195/65. I changed to 205/60.

But you can redeem yourself by using lots of exclamation marks!!!
 
What width are the stock 18s?
 
According to TireRack: 225/55-17 or 235/50-18 depending on the model.
