KDM winged airbag from SFR on 2013+ R-spec sedan

I am just about to buy one of these:

I was looking at what I can sell my flying H airbag on Ebay for, and I noticed that every one says 2009-2012.
That got me thinking. Did they change the airbag in the gen 1.5 (2013/2014) models?

Anyone order one for a 2013 or newer R-spec sedan yet?

As soon as I know it fits, I will be placing the order.


second less important question. What is the delivery time?

i dont believe they have changed the airbag, but yeah diffidently something is different if it goes by the year.

I would check a site like www.newhyundaiparts.com to see if they changed the part between two different model years.

Know anywhere else I could look?
I tried to call SFR, but they are in Korea. I have an email in to them, but not sure when to expect a response due to the time difference.

I'm interested as well, I got '13 and willing to replace it with "wings".

That is the old style, it has the smoother wings. The 12-14 models have a sharper wing design that matches the hood/trunk wings. The airbag with the correct wing is Hyundai part number 569003M200BR. I ordered one last week from http://m.ebay.com/itm?itemId=331184229117. FYI, 569003M100 is the airbag with the flying H, BR is the color code for black interior.

I am not sure what you are talking about. Here are the parts, and it indicates that there is one part for all model years 2009-2014 (Cashmere) and 2011-2014 (Black):

This information can be verified at the parts counter at a Hyundai dealer.

There are different airbags with different logos for different markets. The airbags with wings were never for the US market. Which is why a US Hyundai dealer has no winged airbags in the US parts inventory, just flying H airbags. All the winged bags are available through importers, or from Hyundai dealers like Jim Ellis Hyundai, who is importing Mobis (Hyundai) parts and marking them up. Ellis wants $350 for the same part number I listed in the earlier post. What are the part numbers for the bags you listed, those are very high prices, way higher than even the standard H airbag.

the one I want is the pointier/chrome finished one.

both korean auto imports and sfr show a pic of the old style one.

any other places than ebay to check?

Just do a Google search on 569003M200BR, there are a few other sources, but the eBay listing is the least expensive I have found.
