When looking at the 2010/2011 genesis 4.6 , how can you tell if the car has the <smart cruise control> tech option ? Thanks.........

It's the top button on the right side of the steering wheel above "TRIP". Once you set your cruising speed, select your distance. The icon is the car with radiating bars...Here is a video of it in action:

After more reading , one article stated that the tech. Option was $3500 extra in 2010 but was standard equipment in 2011. Tech. Option included adaptive headlights/cruise , dvd player, and 17 speakers. Would this be correct? Thanks again,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Yes. My 2011 4.6 Tech package has all this as standard.

From Edmund site:

The Technology package adds to or supplements Premium package equipment with adaptive HID headlights, front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, an electronic parking brake, a ventilated driver seat, Bluetooth, a rotary-knob-based multimedia interface, real-time traffic updates and a 17-speaker Lexicon "Discrete" sound system with DVD-audio capability.

The Genesis 4.6 has a V8 engine, a wood-trimmed steering wheel and the Technology package as standard equipment..

Tech Package became standard on 4.6 V8 models in 2011.
