  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I don't think either one of those cars will quit, so long as you do routine maintenance like change the oil/oil filter every 7500 miles, and air filter every 30,000 miles. Obviously, they both need the gas tank refilled, about once every 500 miles or so (there is a gauge on the instrument panel to tell you when to refill).

I believe cobra meant quiet... I do believe they both are equally as quiet. Before I picked up my '14 Equus I had a '13 3.8 Genesis base sedan. It was an amazing car, great mileage (avg 400 per tank) and a sweet sound system, I just want more of a tech upgrade and a bigger motor so I traded it in with our other econobox). Now I get about 300 mile per tank around town in my Equus, but I am known for a heavy foot. I know it'll get over 400 miles per tank over a long stretch. Every now and the I'll drive around without music and just listen to the car. She is relatively silent when cruising, you do however hear the wind buffering very slightly around 75mph, but thats the case with the majority of all cars.

Why do you always feel the need to bash members like Cobra?
Ok the guy made a mistake but you'd rather spend the time ridiculing him rather than just trying to help him.

My dad has 2014 equus fully loaded and i recently bought 2015 genesis. Definately the equus feels better and its quieter than the genesis.
