  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

That SUX! The good news (if there is any) is that the damage is confined to the bumper. When the bumper is replaced everything will be good as new. ::

Mine is going in Aug 5th for 3m Xpel treatment for the front, hood, lower sides and rear. I’ve been very careful to stay off parkways and avoid driving behind trucks. Couldn’t get an appointment till then so in a month and a half only have 550 miles on car.

Not familiar with this product. What does it do exactly?

The entire front end of my car was clear wrapped, meaning entire hood, full front fenders and front bumper. Here is a brief description of the work done in the photos below. Also, the entire car was coated with Optimum Opti Coat 2.0!

The front upper grill piece was removed so that they could wrap the film into the gap to eliminate any lines or edges. It is also wrapped over the front edge of the hood.

The front headlights were also removed to allow the film to be tucked into the very tight seal of the headlights against the fenders, eliminating lines or edges in the film.

Film was also wrapped into the door edge and A-Pillar gap.

Beautiful job who did the work?

Can't believe how unfortunate I'm....I purchased a 2015 Genesis in May which got damaged in transit (from FL to MI) so had to return it to the dealership. This time I decided to pick up the car myself so I went to MD to get it. On the way back home an As** threw a piece of tire on my car. That guy was following me for about an hour on a highway, he suddenly overtook me & came ahead of me then threw a huge piece of tire out of his window which hit the windshield and took the driver's side mirror off. By the time I realized that he did it intentionally he was already gone.

Anyway, so the question is will it be covered under Hyundai's warranty or I have to go thru my insurance?

Why would you think it would be covered under a warranty? It was an accident nothing more. You should have called it into your insurance immediately after it happened.
