  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My back-up cam is starting to go out on me and I wanted to check for loose wires before I ordered a new one. These little buggers are holding on the interior panels.

They look like Philips head screws, but they just spin in place. I'm assuming they're some sort of clip. Does anyone know how to get these out without destroying them?

Thanks!

Hold a Philips head screwdriver on them very gently and turn it counterclockwise. Once the screw portion starts to work it's way out a little get your fingernail underneath the head and keep unscrewing it.

And about 1/3 of the way you can gently start pulling it out by using your fingers.
Don;t be afraid to break them.
